Beschreibung

Artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) are redefining the educational landscape across schools, universities, and training institutions worldwide. This book explores how these technologies are reshaping teaching, learning, assessment, governance, and institutional strategy in the evolving EduTech era. Bringing together international scholars and practitioners, this volume examines the integration of AI and IoT from multiple perspectives: pedagogical, institutional, strategic, ethical, and environmental. It addresses resistance to technological change, the development of smart classrooms, prompt literacy for educators, AI-ready school models, and policy-to-practice transitions in higher education. The book also explores teacher identity transformation through AI co-teaching tools, equity challenges in global EdTech ecosystems, and empirical insights such as evidence from British universities. Furthermore, it analyzes smart diagnostics, personalized learning systems, sustainability concerns related to AI and IoT infrastructures, and the broader connection between digital transformation and education. Through conceptual frameworks, case studies, and policy analysis, the book provides a comprehensive roadmap for responsible and effective AI-driven educational innovation. This book is intended for researchers, policymakers, school leaders, higher education administrators, EdTech professionals, and graduate students in education, digital transformation, and innovation management. It will also benefit practitioners seeking strategic guidance for implementing AI and IoT solutions in educational environments.

Adnène Arbi is an Associate Professor affiliated with the University of Carthage in Tunisia, where he has contributed significantly to the fields of mathematics, AI, and engineering. His tenure at the university spans over a decade, during which he has held various positions, including roles at the Tunisia Polytechnic School and the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology. His research interests primarily focus on neural networks, dynamical systems, and mathematical modeling, with a particular emphasis on the stability and controllability of complex systems. Arbi's recent publications reflect his commitment to advancing knowledge in applied mathematics, particularly through innovative approaches such as wavelet neural networks and the dynamics of nonlinear systems. His work has been published in reputable journals, contributing to the understanding of mathematical phenomena in both theoretical and practical contexts. In addition to his academic pursuits, Arbi has collaborated with various prestigious institutions globally, including the University of the Witwatersrand, University of Southeast and Imperial College London, showcasing his dedication to fostering international research partnerships. His contributions to the academic community continue to inspire emerging scholars and practitioners in the field. Actually, Dr. Arbi served as editor of various journals. Besides, he is the author of more than 50 scientific peer- reviewed papers in international journals and conference proceedings, and he served as a reviewer for many international conferences and workshops. Dr. Yahya Fikri is a PhD researcher in Economic and Management Sciences, specializing in economics, econometrics, and statistics, with a strong focus on applying advanced quantitative and qualitative methods to complex economic challenges. His expertise spans time series modeling, data analysis, and statistical inference, areas in which he has consistently advanced both theory and application. Over the course of his academic career, Dr. Fikri has been a distinguished academic who has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, where his contributions have significantly shaped the development and refinement of modern econometric techniques. His scholarly influence is complemented by active participation in international conferences and seminars, where he fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange across economics, environmental science, and policy domains. And, Dr. Fikri is an associate editor and reviewer for some journals and book chapters. Dr. Fikri has emerged as a leading voice in examining the nexus of education, poverty, economic growth, and sustainable development. By leveraging applied statistics and econometric modeling, his research provides critical insights into the socio-economic impacts of education on poverty, economic growth, and long-term sustainability. Beyond academic contributions, his work carries profound societal relevance. By generating evidence-based models and policy recommendations, Dr. Fikri supports strategies aimed at enhancing economic growth, AI in education, and environmental sustainability. His research exemplifies how rigorous data-driven analysis can bridge the gap between economic theory and practical solutions to some of the most urgent global challenges. With his blend of methodological precision, interdisciplinary engagement, and commitment to sustainability, Dr. Fikri continues to shape the future of econometric-driven policy and sustainable development research.
