Women and Sustainable Development

This book identifies and characterizes selected aspects of women's functioning in modern societies, in the context of the goals, assumptions and challenges of sustainable development. It offers an innovative, multidimensional perspective on the potential and role of women in the context of sustainable development.

Agata Niemczyk is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism at the Krakow University of Economics, Poland. Zofia Gródek-Szostak is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Enterprise Organization at the Krakow University of Economics, Poland. Renata Seweryn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Tourism at the Krakow University of Economics, and the Plenipotentiary of the Krakow University of Economics Rector for the Quality of Education, Poland. Urszula Grzega is an Associate Professor in the Department of Consumer Research at the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.
