Call to Action

Educators, school administrators, counselors, and parents must have the necessary knowledge and understanding about twice exceptional students in order to be able to identify them and to provide meaningful academic and psycho-social interventions. A Call to Action provides tools to challenge these students’ gifts and remediate their disabilities.

Blanche E. Sosland's teaching career was at the college and university level, she has also taught in classrooms ranging from early childhood to Head Start to middle school. Her areas of expertise include diagnosis and remediation of reading problems in the classroom and twice exceptional children: gifted/talented and learning disabled.
