Daphne Wright - Memory and Presence

Daphne Wright's (b. 1963) sculptures and installa tions bear witness to transience, fragility and the many facets of human life. Through observing them, one senses a certain melancholy, which is under scored by fragile materials such as unfired clay or plaster.
