Beschreibung

This beautiful pocket-sized hardback gift book contains carefully curated poetic poisons compiled by Deborah Alma, the founder of the Poetry Pharmacy. The Poetry Poisons are for when sweetness fails, offering a controlled dose of the less virtuous emotions, to be taken slowly and without apology. Extract of Night; For Howling to the Moon; For the Contemplation of Shadows & the Love of the Unlit; For the lifting of the veil between the real and the imagined. Poetry Poison: Darkness offers a profound journey into the deep night, featuring evocative verses of shadow, solitude, and the unknown. Includes poems from Emily Dickinson, John Keats and Thomas Hardy.
