Fernando Martell has a PhD in Electronic Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey, NL, Mexico. He has experience in industrial automation, energy efficiency and optimization projects. He is currently an engineering researcher in mechatronics, energy and cyberphysical systems at Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica, AC, AGS, Mexico. Irma Y. Sanchez has a PhD in Mechatronics from Tecnológico de Monterrey, NL, Mexico. She has academic experience at Tecnológico de Monterrey and at Universidad Politécnica de Aguascalientes. Her research work includes robotics, cyberphysical systems, process and control engineering, and control of physiological systems.
