Glenn Alterman (Brooklyn, NY) is an award-winning playwright, the author of 23 best-selling theater-related books, (including nine volumes of original monologues'), 'a screenwriter, an actor, and a highly respected monologue/audition acting coach. He was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, and has worked extensively in regional theater as well as Off-Broadway and television. Alterman is the winner of 44 playwriting competitions, including the prestigious Arts and Letters Award in Drama. His ten-minute plays have appeared in many annual Best 10-Minute Plays anthologies, and have received hundreds of productions, both in the United States and abroad.
