Why has global tax governance been politicized and how can we explain the varying intensity and content of public debates? Henning Schmidtke is a Research Fellow at the German Institute of Global and Area Studies (GIGA), Hamburg. His research interests include the formation, design, and behavior of international organizations and the contentious politics around them.
