Contemporary Chinese Queer Performance

In this ground-breaking study, Hongwei Bao analyses queer theatre and performance in contemporary China. It will be of great interest to students and scholars of theatre and performance studies, gender and sexuality studies and Asian studies.

Dr Hongwei Bao is an Associate Professor in Media Studies at the University of Nottingham, UK, where he also directs the Centre for Contemporary East Asian Cultural Studies. He is also a research associate of the Birmingham School of Art.
