Through the Eyes of Simon

Simon of Cyrene. A name mentioned only once in the Bible, yet its weight ripples through history. Who was he? And why does his singular moment-a fleeting interaction with the cross-resonate with such significance? Every pebble tossed into still waters creates waves. Simon's life, like that pebble, may have seemed ordinary. But what if the smallest acts, the briefest moments, are the ones that shape eternity? This book imagines his journey-not just his encounter with the cross, but his transformation as he carried it.

John and his wife Theresa, have been married since 1981. They have 4 grown children, two of which are married to wonderful spouses. We have 8 grandchildren, 4 months to 13 years old. We embrace our Roman Catholic Faith, trying to learn more about the Scriptures and travel to biblical locations to immerse ourselves in the locations where the Word was written and the actions were completed.
