Katharine 'Kay' Graham was the first female publisher of a major American newspaper and America's first female Fortune 500 CEO. She led her family's newspaper, THE WASHINGTON POST, for more than two decades, overseeing its most famous period: publishing the Pentagon Papers, and the Watergate coverage that eventually led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
