THE SYMBOLIC TRINITY

This volume continues the symbolic investigation developed in the preceding books of the series. If the earlier volumes turned toward Genesis, the Flood, the serpent motif, and the hidden sayings attributed to Jesus, the present work moves into a more dangerous theological field: the Trinity, the logic of rebellion, the figure of Barabbas, and the disputed memory of France. the chapters follow Marcionism, Luciferic symbolism, the Root of Jesse, the Passover amnesty scene, the Barabbas tradition, the Merovingian dynasty, and Joan of Arc, the reader will encounter claims that stand outside the boundaries of conventional biblical scholarship. Its purpose is not to prove, in a narrow historical sense, every line of the interpretive pattern it proposes.
