This presents six solution methods for linear partial differential equations (P.D.E.s) with constant coefficients. It covers linear P.D.E.s with homogeneous power coefficients, finite difference equations and simultaneous systems of both, with applications to solutions of the most important P.D.E.s in physics and engineering.

Campos was Chair Professor and the Coordinator of the Scientific Area of Applied and Aerospace Mechanics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and also the director (and founder) of the Center for Aeronautical and Space Science and Technology until retirement in 2020.
