Legend says that in the dawn of time, Prometheus created two beings. First were the humans, and he gave them fire. Then he breathed life into the Viscerebus, giving them superhuman abilities and the power to shapeshift.
The Vis hunt for sustenance, the humans for survival. After humans dominated the planet with their superior numbers and weapons of mass destruction, the Viscerebus allowed their existence to fade into legends and folklore.
Anza is an Erdia, a half-human, half-Viscerebus longing for a life of simple freedom. She leaves behind her privileged but restricted secret life to go after what she wants: make friends and live openly as a human away from her Viscerebus family.
