Translating in the Local Community

This volume showcases different forms of natural and nonprofessional translation and interpreting at work at multilingual sites in a single city, shedding new light on our understanding of the intersection of city, migration, and translation.

Peter Flynn (emeritus) lectured in Translation Studies and English at KU Leuven, Antwerp Campus, Belgium, from 2006 to 2020. He is a member of CETRA, and Research Fellow at UFS, Bloemfontein, South Africa.
