Robert Pearce examines the Labour government of 1945-51. He looks at the main political personalities of the period, sets their work in the context of Labour history since 1900, and examines their domestic and foreign achievements.
Robert Pearce was born in Torbay Hospital in 1977. He was blessed to grow up amongst a warm and loving family in a fantastic part of the UK. As a boy, he was fascinated by nature and the ocean in particular. He went on to pursue a career as a professional sailor for the better part of two decades. In later life, he suffered badly from mental health issues and had to retire from yachting. He now works as an artist and author.
