Speaking With a Single Voice

Does speaking with a single voice make Europe stronger on the international scene? The primary objective of this book is to probe the claim that being united makes the EU more effective in global governance. The chapters assembled in the book explore whether there is a single template for the ways Europeans behave and succeed on the international scene. This book was originally published as a special issue of the Journal of European Public Policy.

Eugénia da Conceição-Heldt is Professor of International Politics at the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. Sophie Meunier is Research Scholar and Co-Director of the European Union Program at Princeton University, New Jersey, USA.
