George Washington Frank'S Stone House on the Nebraska Prairie

Stone House is an 1889 mansion with an architectural design based on two stylesthe Richardsonian Romanesque and the Shingle Style, which was built on the prairie of Nebraska. The study of the architectural elements is presented in color photographs.

VIRGINIA LLEGO LUND was the curator of the Frank House from July 1990 to October 2004. She is retired, and a part- time archivist. Her professional affiliations include the Nebraska State Historical Society, the American Association for State and Local History and a past member of the Society of Architectural Historians.
