Soft Power Competition Between Russia and the West

Delving into the case of Georgia, this volume illustrates how the soft power struggle between Russia and the West has not only redefined international power dynamics but also deeply impacted Georgian nation-building. The book systematically analyses the evolution of soft power strategies of the USA, the EU, and Russia in relation to Georgia from the 1990s to the present. Vladimir Liparteliani is a scholar of International Relations specialising in soft power and international power competition in the post-Soviet space. He holds a PhD in Russian Studies from Durham University, where he is also an Honorary Fellow. Vladimir has professional experience in journalism and diplomacy.
